How do I take part in the contest?

It's easy to do: register on the site and start searching for interesting news on thousands of popular sites in our system.

It should be noted that frequently on many news sites interesting news is presented in a boring fashion – as a news link creator you will need to use your creative abilities to choose and edit a headline, a caption, and a photo for each news story. If in your opinion the information is already very interesting, but your link doesn’t get enough clicks, you can edit the headline, caption, and photo to increase the effectiveness of the link. However, your representation of the news must represent what is actually in the news story.

Our moderators have the right to exclude news links from our contest, if we find any of the following:

• - cheating;
• - offensive content;
• - adults only, or 18+ content;
• - content violating any local, public or international laws;
• - other violations of the MarketGid User Agreement.

With the prize awarded from the news link contest you can order any product from Marketgid's list of products or from any of MarketGid's retail partners (the list of participating shops can be found on your Account page).
